According to Ukrinform, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported the operational situation as of 22:00 on July 30 on Facebook.

"Since the beginning of the day, there have been 226 combat engagements. The aggressor carried out one missile strike using 74 missiles, launched 50 air strikes involving 181 guided aerial bombs, deployed 5,566 kamikaze drones, and conducted 2,268 attacks on the positions of our troops and populated areas," the statement said.

In the Northern Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk sectors, Russian forces carried out one air strike, dropping three guided bombs, and shelled Ukrainian positions and settlements 59 times, including three attacks using multiple launch rocket systems.

In the Southern Slobozhanshchyna sector, Russian troops launched 14 assaults near Starytsia, Zapadne, Kopanky, and toward Okhrimivka, Radkivka, and Khatnie.

On the Kupiansk sector, Russian forces launched two assaults toward Tyshchenkivka.

In the Lyman sector, Ukrainian defenders repelled 13 Russian attempts to advance toward Dibrova, Stavky, Lyman, Drobysheve, and Ozerne, as well as near Novomykhailivka, Hrekivka, and Novoselivka. Three engagements were still ongoing.

In the Sloviansk sector, Ukrainian forces successfully repelled 22 Russian assaults near Zakitne, Kryva Luka, Riznykivka, and toward Pyskunivka, Rai-Oleksandrivka, and Mykolaivka.

In the Kramatorsk sector, Russian troops attacked twice near Fedorivka Druha and Tykhonivka.

In the Kostiantynivka sector, Ukrainian forces repelled 30 Russian assaults near Kostiantynivka, Illinivka, Toretske, Rusyn Yar, and Sofiivka, as well as toward Stepanivka, Dovha Balka, and Vilne. Two clashes were still underway.

In the Pokrovsk sector, Russian forces launched 25 attacks near Novooleksandrivka, Kotlyne, Udachne, Novomykolaivka, and Molodetske, as well as toward Bilytske, Shevchenko, Myrne, Muravka, Novopavlivka, Novyi Donbas, and Matiasheve. Four combat engagements were ongoing.

According to preliminary estimates, Ukrainian forces in the Pokrovsk sector eliminated 29 Russian troops and wounded seven others. They also destroyed two vehicles, two pieces of special equipment, 37 personnel shelters, and one electronic warfare system. In addition, Ukrainian troops damaged two artillery systems, three vehicles, two pieces of special equipment, three drone command posts, and 182 personnel shelters, while 218 enemy drones of various types were destroyed or suppressed.

In the Oleksandrivka sector, Russian troops launched two attacks toward Kalynivske and near Pershotravneve.

In the Huliaipole sector, Ukrainian defenders repelled 10 assaults toward Vozdvyzhivka, Kosivtseve, Tsvitkove, and Charivne.

In the Orikhiv sector, Ukrainian forces repelled two Russian attempts to advance near Bilohiria and Shcherbaky.

In the Dnipro River sector, Russian forces did not conduct offensive operations.

No significant changes were reported in the remaining sectors of the front.

As reported by Ukrinform, Ukraine's Defense Forces earlier dismissed Russian claims that they had captured the village of Nova Sich in the Sumy region.
