MANILA, Philippines — The National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) will subpoena Batangas First District Rep. Leandro Leviste and former Rep. Jing Paras over an affidavit of a nabbed talent manager that they supposedly planned to frame Executive Secretary Ralph Recto in a “bugaw,” or human trafficking, modus operandi. In an interview on Friday, NBI Director Melvin Matibag said the subpoenas against Leviste and Paras involved this Friday.
