Watch: Mountain burns overnight in Spain’s Castellón in dramatic drone footage

Drone footage has captured a mountain in Spain’s Castellón province burning overnight, as residents were forced to evacuate their homes.

The mountain near the town of La Vall d’Uixo can be seen going up in flames as emergency service workers arrived on the scene to tackle the blaze, which has ravaged more than 10,000 hectares.

Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez said the crisis facing the country was "extreme", with at least 10 active wildfires causing concern. At least six regions in the country have been placed on orange alert, the second-highest level in the country's weather alert system.
