Polish Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Defense Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz highlighted this on X, emphasizing the need for continued support for Kyiv, Ukrinform reports.

According to the Minister, Polish experts, including specialists from the Military Police, are continuing an intensive examination of the missile fragments found after the crash in the Lublin Voivodeship.

He said investigators determined that the missile was manufactured in the second quarter of 2026 at a facility near Moscow.

“This means that Russia is using missiles against Ukraine that are being produced practically in real time. This confirms information that Russian military stockpiles have been depleted,” the Polish Defense Minister said.

He stressed that this fact once again demonstrates the importance of continued support for Ukraine.

“Every form of assistance to Ukraine brings an end to this war closer. And this is extremely important for our security,” Kosiniak-Kamysz said.

As reported by Ukrinform, according to the Polish Prosecutor’s Office, a Russian Kh-101 cruise missile that was manufactured in the Moscow region in the second quarter of 2026 fell in Poland’s Lublin Voivodeship.

Poland’s Foreign Ministry summoned the Russian ambassador over the missile’s fall on Polish territory during Russia’s large-scale attack on Ukraine.

According to Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk, Warsaw will soon consider providing Ukraine with additional missiles for Patriot air defense systems.

Kosiniak-Kamysz said on Friday in the Sejm that Warsaw would continue providing military assistance to Ukraine despite criticism from the Polish opposition, as support for Kyiv is one of the key elements of ensuring Poland’s own security.
