BACOLOD CITY — A total of 3,005 graduating college students from 601 barangays in Negros Occidental received financial assistance under the Presidential Assistance to Barangays program. The students each received P20,000 from the P200.2 million released to the province’s 601 barangays during a ceremonial turnover at the Panaad Stadium on Friday, July 31, according to Assistant Secretary Rea Uy Epistola of the Office of the Executive Secretary.
