Mutya Datul celebrates Katrina Llegado’s Miss Supranational victory
Miss Supranational 2013 Mutya Datul was all praise for fellow Filipino beauty queen Katrina Llegado after the latter won the Philippines’ second crown from the international tilt.
Datul, the first Filipino to win the Miss Supranational crown in 2013, penned a congratulatory greeting for Llegado through her social media pages on Saturday, Aug. 1.
“Congratulations to the newly crowned Miss Supranational 2026 Katrina Llegado!” Datul wrote.

“Watching another queen begin this incredible journey brings back so many unforgettable memories. As the second Miss Supranational, I’m excited to see you write your own story and inspire the world,” she added.
In a separate post, Datul shared a clip of herself cheering at home after Llegado was announced as the titleholder.
The Miss Philippines also celebrated Llegado’s feat, showing moments from her crowning moment.
“The world witnessed it. The Philippines will never forget it,” it said in an Instagram post. “From the moment her name was called to the walk with the crown, Katrina Llegado gave the Philippines a victory to celebrate and a moment to remember.”

“This is more than a winning moment. It is the culmination of years of hard work, purpose, and believing that dreams are earned through perseverance,” it added. “Congratulations once again to our Miss Supranational 2026, Katrina Llegado. The Philippines is incredibly proud of you.”
Llegado took home the crown after she bested 66 other delegates at the final competition held in Nowy Sacz in Poland on July 31 (Aug. 1 in the Philippines). /ra
