According to Ukrinform, the Ukrainian Air Force reported this on Telegram.

Starting at 6:00 p.m. on July 31, the Russians attacked Ukraine with strike UAVs, as well as various types of air- and ground-launched missiles.

The main target of the attack was the Kyiv region. The Dnipropetrovsk, Sumy, Kharkiv, and Poltava regions were also attacked.

In total, the Air Force’s electronic warfare units detected 358 air attack weapons—35 missiles and 185 UAVs of various types:

four “Zircon”/“Onyx” anti-ship missiles (launch sites—Kursk and Rostov regions);

27 Iskander-M/S-400 ballistic missiles (launch areas: Bryansk and Kursk regions);

two Kh-31 anti-radar missiles and two Kh-59/69 guided air-to-ground missiles (launch area: Black Sea waters);

185 Shahed-type strike UAVs (including jet-powered ones), “Gerbera,” “Italmas,” “Banderol” loitering munitions, and “Parody”-type decoy drones (from the directions of Bryansk, Kursk, Orel, as well as the temporarily occupied Donetsk and Hvardiyske in the temporarily occupied Crimea).

The air attack was repelled by the Ukrainian Air Force, anti-aircraft missile forces, electronic warfare units, unmanned systems, and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.

According to preliminary data, as of 9:30 a.m. on August 1, air defense forces shot down or neutralized 156 targets—two missiles and 154 drones of various types:

an Iskander-M ballistic missile/S-400;

an Kh-59/69 guided air-to-ground missile;

154 UAVs of various types.

According to preliminary information, as of 9:30 a.m., four anti-ship missiles and 26 ballistic missiles were confirmed to have struck targets, along with 23 attack UAVs at 21 locations, and debris from downed missiles was found at two locations.

In addition, three missiles failed to reach their targets.

The attack is ongoing, and enemy drones remain in the airspace.

As reported by Ukrinform, nine people were killed and 30 injured in Kyiv as a result of the Russian attack on the night of August 1, including four children.
