An explosion at a restaurant in central Moscow killed at least three people, Russian state media said Saturday, citing local officials.

At least 15 people were injured in the explosion and investigators, forensic experts and emergency services were working at the scene, Russian state news agency RIA Novosti reported.

The exact number of dead and injured, as well as the circumstances of the incident on Moscow’s Kudrinskaya Square, are being established, the Moscow Investigative Committee told the news agency.
