According to Ukrinform, the information was released by the Office of the President of Ukraine.

Zelensky thanked the UAE President for his full understanding of the situation and for supporting efforts to achieve peace and greater security.

“Ukraine always helps those who help us. This year, Ukrainians have made a significant contribution to the security of our partners in the Gulf region. Now, we discussed how the UAE can help us in Europe, particularly in the Black Sea region. This concerns food security, the security of maritime routes, and expanding our ability to protect lives,” the President said.

The two leaders also discussed a range of bilateral projects in various sectors and agreed to continue their cooperation to ensure these initiatives are successfully implemented.

As Ukrinform previously reported, representatives of Ukraine, the European Commission, Moldova, and Romania held a meeting focused on strengthening the Solidarity Lanes initiative, expanding the capacity of Danube region ports, and ensuring the stable transit of Ukrainian goods amid intensified Russian attacks on port infrastructure.
