MARAWI CITY — The province of Lanao del Sur successfully held its 1st Pakaradiyaan or Sarimanok Festival as it culminated its month-long 67th founding anniversary on Thursday last week. Steve Patrick Fernandez, artistic director of Integrated Performing Arts Guild (IPAG) and one of the Board of Judges, told the Inquirer by phone Saturday morning that the Sarimanok is a “legendary bird” of the Meranaw (Maranaw) people.
