SUAL, Pangasinan — The Department of Agriculture (DA) will distribute fingerlings to fishpond operators affected by recent fishkills across the country to help them restock their ponds and recover losses, Agriculture Secretary Francisco Tiu Laurel Jr. said. The DA also plans to acquire solar-powered aerators that will be provided to small fishpond owners to help maintain adequate dissolved oxygen levels and reduce the risk of future fishkills.
