BAGUIO CITY — The Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) is working to unify Filipinos’ credit information, including credit scores, to encourage greater use of banking services and improve access to loans, BSP Deputy Governor Bernadette Romulo-Puyat said recently. Credit scores form part of an individual’s credit profile and reflect a person’s financial behavior, such as their ability to pay obligations and manage expenses. “Credit scoring is already being done by e-wallets.
