Saudi Foreign Minister Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud discussed efforts to de-escalate regional tensions in a telephone call with his Iranian counterpart, the Saudi foreign ministry said on X.

Prince Faisal stressed the kingdom’s commitment to continuing regional efforts to promote security and stability and advance the shared interests of countries and people across the region, the ministry said.
