Man dies after being found critically hurt in Rotoehu Forest
Police are "determined" to get answers for a man's family after he was found critically injured and later died.
In a statement, police said officers were called to Rotoehu Forest in the Bay of Plenty about 10.15pm on Friday, where 24-year-old Harry Burlace was found in a critical condition.
Burlace died in Rotorua Hospital from his injuries.
Detective senior sergeant Natalie Flowerdew-Brown said police's thoughts are with Burlace's family and friends.
"We are continuing to piece together the events that lead to Harry being critically injured, and continue to make a number of inquiries as to what happened," Flowerdew-Brown said.
"We are determined to get answers for his family."
