A driver who smashed into a parked car before rolling their vehicle has been arrested after fleeing the crash on foot.

Emergency services went to the crash on Moorefield Rd, Johnsonville, Wellington, about 5pm.

Police said the driver was arrested nearby after leaving the scene on foot.
