MANILA, Philippines—The Department of Education (DepEd) is stepping up monitoring and collaboration with private educational institutions in a push to align private-sector innovations with national learning and safety standards. Education Secretary Sonny Angara and National Capital Region Assistant Secretary and Regional Director Dr. Jocelyn Andaya conducted an unannounced visit to Sproutville International School in Bonifacio Global City on Friday.
