MANILA, Philippines — Sen. Loren Legarda thanked her colleagues for passing on third and final reading the proposed Magna Carta of Barangay Health Workers (Senate Bill No. 1905), particularly Sen. JV Ejercito, its principal author, and Sen. Risa Hontiveros, its principal sponsor. Legarda, a co-sponsor of the current bill, has filed and supported similar legislation, of which she was the principal author, since the 14th Congress.
