Small businesses with five employees or fewer are less likely to adopt artificial intelligence tools than larger counterparts, according to new research from MYOB.

MYOB’s 2026 Business Monitor shows 36% of local small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) are using artificial intelligence (AI) in their business, up from 32% in 2025.
