BAGUIO CITY — Several roads across the Cordillera were closed or reduced to one-lane traffic on Tuesday as heavy rains triggered mudflows, road slips, and soil and rockfall, according to the Department of Public Works and Highways office in the Cordillera Administrative Region. In Benguet province, only one lane of the Baguio-Bontoc Road, commonly known as Halsema Highway, was passable at Caliking, Atok town due to a road slip.
