Motorola has a pretty sweet promo for those interested in its Razr Fold – a $300 boost to all trade-ins, as well as several bundled freebies too.
The Motorola Razr Fold is one of the better foldables you can buy in the US right now. While it lacks some of the excitement of Samsung’s new Galaxy Z Fold 8 series, it offers a huge battery, decent cameras, good foldable hardware, and Motorola’s highest commitment when it comes to software updates.
We were pretty pleased with the device in our review.
One of the few issues is the price tag. At $1,899, it’s right up there in Samsung’s territory, and Samsung often has much higher trade-in values than the rest of the industry.
Right now, though, Motorola is tossing in an extra $300 on top of all trade-in values. So you’ll get whatever your device is considered to be worth – usually $100-400 for older phones – with $300 extra tacked on. The only devices not eligible for that bonus are the ones with $0 trade-in value.
The highest value I found was a maxed-out iPhone 17 Pro Max (2TB) which got around $800 in credit. Not crazy, but combined with Motorola’s $300 boost, it’s not bad either. Pixel 10 Pro Fold and Galaxy Z Fold 7 fetch upwards of $500, but the real value here comes from older devices. You can get a couple hundred dollars from an older-gen device being traded in, with the $300 bonus turning that into a pretty decent discount.
Not to mention Motorola is throwing a ton of extra freebies on top. You get a Moto Tag (1st-gen), Moto Watch, and Moto Buds Loop all for free with the purchase. It’s over $400 worth of gear, but ironically skips the Moto Pen Ultra stylus that can be used on the Razr Fold.
Similar trade-in + freebie deals are available on the Razr (2026) series, while Razr (2025) models are steeply discounted – and perhaps the most worthwhile, as we pointed out a few months ago.
Here’s a quick breakdown of Motorola’s other ongoing deals:
- Razr (2026): $150 trade-in bonus, free Moto Tag & Moto Buds Plus
- Razr+ (2026): $300 trade-in bonus, free Moto Tag & Moto Watch

- Motorola Edge (2026): $120 trade-in bonus, free Moto Buds Loop & Moto Watch
- Motorola Edge (2025): $100 trade-in bonus, free Lenovo Idea Tab Pro
