Dredging Corporation of India Limited (DCIL) reported a sharp financial and operational turnaround for the quarter ended June 30, 2026, aided by higher revenue, improved project execution and disciplined cost management.
The company posted an operational income of ₹355.43 crore in the first quarter, a 46.73% increase over ₹242.24 crore recorded in the corresponding quarter of the previous financial year.
DCIL reported a profit after tax of ₹11.24 crore, recovering from a net loss of ₹23.33 crore in the year-ago period.
The company’s earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) rose to ₹61.86 crore from ₹46.90 crore in the corresponding quarter last year. It also continued to strengthen its financial position through better working capital management, improved recovery of receivables and optimum utilisation of resources.
Jasmeet Singh Bindra, Chairman, said the company’s performance reflected its strategic vision and financial discipline. “The return to profitability, coupled with strong growth in operational income, demonstrates our ability to create sustainable value even in a dynamic business environment,” he said.
Capt. S.
