BACOLOD CITY, NEGROS OCCIDENTAL, Philippines — Negros Occidental has intensified efforts to contain the spread of red-striped soft scale insects (RSSI) by deploying pathogenic fungi on more than 77 hectares of sugarcane fields affected by low to moderate infestations.
