LUCENA CITY — At least 13 local governments in Cavite province suspended classes at all levels on Wednesday, Aug. 5, due to inclement weather brought by a low-pressure area and the southwest monsoon. The Cavite Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (PDRRMO) said the municipalities of Tanza, Naic, Alfonso, Magallanes, Amadeo, Mendez, Indang, Maragondon, Ternate, General Emilio Aguinaldo, and Silang, as well as the cities of Trece Martires and Dasmariñas, suspended classes at all levels in public and private schools.
