KORONADAL CITY, South Cotabato — A magnitude 7 earthquake rattled parts of Mindanao shortly past Wednesday noon, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) said. It said the earthquake struck 248 kilometers southeast of Sarangani town in Davao Occidental at 12:13 p.m. The tectonic quake has a depth of 10 kilometers. It was felt at Intensity 5 in Sarangani.
