Autafinna is a six-year-old gelding that has only had two starts but has shown talent with a debut second at Taree being followed with another second at the same track when hitting the line in good style. He looks to have the ability to get away with this event. 5. Honeyhill has also finished second in each of her latest two starts and is a mare that shows staying talent. She should be thereabouts here. 7. Reschs Milk was stepping out for her third race when third at Newcastle and she can get into the money again without surprising. 8. Royal Princess wasn’t beaten far when a last start fourth at Gunnedah and is far from the worst in this.How to play it: Autafinna to win.

Race 2

1. Proxima Dea made her debut in Saturday city grade at Randwick and managed to score a narrow win at big odds. She raced on the speed in that event and there was plenty to like about the victory. 5. Powerful Prayer resumed with a fourth at Kembla Grange when beaten less than a length and can figure prominently with a repeat. 6. Sirius Moss comes into this after a last start success at Hawkesbury over a subsequent winner. 7. Olivia Mia was beaten favourite on the Acton track at Canberra last time out and shouldn’t be taken lightly.How to play it: Proxima Dea to win.

Race 3

1. Unleash Harry has had two starts for a debut third at Hawkesbury and a resuming seventh at Warwick Farm. He is fresh for this after a recent trial and is from a form stable with a string of recent victories. 2. In Circles has shown promise with a second and a fourth from two starts and bears close watching. 10. Temptation is on debut and has looked good winning both barrier trials. 4. Lucsain is on debut and won the latest of his trials at Rosehill in good style.How to play it: Unleash Harry each way.

Race 4

8. Acharnee showed potential in her initial preparation and has since resumed with a second at Gosford when beaten less than half a length. She’s an on-pace runner that should take running down. 3. Gus The Great has been placed in three of four starts and resumes from a spell after two trials. 9. Alabama Charm is resuming from a spell after a Warwick Farm trial placing and has been placed in five of 13 starts. 4. Iniesta failed at Hawkesbury when resuming but can improve.How to play it: Acharnee to win.

Race 5

2. Spartus attacked the line to score a last start win at Wyong and needs to run up to that effort to be hard to hold out from the good gate. 1. Harlex was a winner at this track three starts ago and has been midfield in two Midway events since. 4. Apollo Ridge has had two runs back from a spell and should be ready to peak. 5. Oceans One is also third-up from a spell and warrants thought from the inside draw.How to play it: Spartus to win.

Race 6

2. Crash Bang Wallop is on debut after a number of trials. She finished second in the latest at Hawkesbury and looks primed to run well. 3. Kapolei is having its first run for a new stable and is a recent Warwick Farm trial winner. 4. Mariana Miss is resuming and is a stablemate of Crash Bang Wallop and defeated that horse in her latest trial. 7. Parthenon makes his debut after two trials which resulted in a win and a second, both at Gosford.How to play it: Crash Bang Wallop to win.

Race 7

4. Forest King won well on debut at Canterbury earlier in the year before tackling the Pago Pago Stakes at his second start when seventh. Resumed with a sixth at Rosehill against tougher opposition than this and gets his chance to bounce back. 2. Zubba Storm has hit his straps having won two in a row at Dubbo and Gunnedah. He’s drawn well and should be hitting the line. 6. Better Late is resuming and has won two of six, while 3. Extra Heights is a city winner that can run well fresh.How to play it: Forest King to win.

Race 8

6. You’re The Choice was resuming from a spell at Canterbury when last produced and hit the line well to finish second. She has a handy record and can go one better here. 3. Call Me Sassy has a win and seven placings from nine starts. A last start third at Kembla Grange. She should be in the thick of things. 4. I’m Super is talented and has three wins from seven starts and can handle the rise in class from the inside gate. 1. Grinzinger Pod resumed with a third at Gosford and looks to have place claims again here.How to play it: You’re The Choice to win.
