MANILA, Philippines — The Philippine Space Agency (PhilSA) on Wednesday said debris from China’s Jielong-3 rocket may have fallen near Babuyan Island and Santa Ana, Cagayan. The Jielong-3 rocket lifted off at around 10:30 a.m. Philippine Standard Time (PST) on Wednesday, Aug. 5, from the Yellow Sea launch area off Haiyang, Shandong province, China. According to PhilSA, the drop zone is within the country’s exclusive economic zone, approximately 94 nautical miles (NM) from Babuyan Island and 143 NM from Santa Ana, Cagayan.
