LONDON, August 5. /TASS/. US President Donald Trump declined Vladimir Zelensky’s request for hundreds of additional Patriot interceptors at their meeting last week, The Financial Times reported, citing sources.

According to the newspaper, Trump cited shortages in US interceptor stocks linked to the military operation against Iran.

The US president told Zelensky that Washington needed the interceptors to protect its assets and allies in the Middle East.
