Noel Edmonds issues update after lobster release video divides fans
Noel Edmonds has broken his silence after he controversially released two tank lobsters into the sea off the coast of the Isle of Man.
The former Deal or No Deal presenter, 77, said he and his wife Liz Davies felt “uncomfortable” seeing the crustaceans in a tank, so decided to release them into “nice clear water” at Peel Breakwater.
While animal rights charity Peta praised the couple’s “compassion”, many online condemned the pair for potentially harming the lobsters. “Disease transfer and genetic mixing are real concerns to native populations,” one user explained.
In a new video posted on Tuesday (4 August), the 77-year-old, wearing a red boiler suit and a hard hat, said: “Guess what I am about to do... oh yeah! I'm going to bed.”
