Justin Thomas hasn’t won on tour in a long time, and he might be due. After his recovery from back surgery delayed his start to the current season, Thomas showed some serious signs of life at the Open Championship at Royal Birkdale. While his game might not be what it once was, Thomas at +2700 odds would be quite the pay out if he plays up to his own personal standard.
Similar to Thomas, McNealy is a player brimming with talent and potential. He’s won on tour before, but it’s been since 2024 since he claimed victory. With a field which isn’t the strongest, McNealy would be a great play at +3700 odds.

When I saw Thomas was getting +510 odds to be in the Top 5, and I liked the way his game was trending heading into the Wyndham, it felt like a no-brainer. If you think he can win, which I obviously do, then you can double-down, or hedge your play, with him also as a Top 5 finish with tremendous odds.
As for Matsuyama, I have been successful with picking him in certain situations the last two weeks. At the 3M Open he helped us cash a Top 10 pick, and last week at the Rocket Classic he helped us cash a Top 20 pick. Hopefully Hideki’s game holds up and he’s able to help us with a Top 5 play this week.

It might be my “gut pick” of the week, but Fitzpatrick has played great golf this year, and hopefully he’s able to finish near the top of the leaderboard.
Cameron Young won this event last year, and had a Top 10 finish last week at the Rocket Classic. The issue with Young was his putting went ice cold, and it kept him from winning last weekend. Nonetheless, I think even with his putting less than stellar, Young should be in the Top 10 conversation. And at +100 odds, I like the play a lot.

Alex Smalley is a player who has improved every year he’s been on tour, and has even been leading major tournaments at some point, on more than one occasion, this year. He has yet to cash in on those situations, but I think him finishing in the Top 20 would be a smart play at +210.
Keegan Bradley has a lot to play for this week, and he needs a T38 finish to make it into the Top 70 and make the FedEx Cup Playoffs. I don’t think Bradley is the type of player who will let off the gas, and with that much on the line I like the play at +164 odds.
