Most recently the couple were in Mexico followed by New York for a photo call for Spider-Man while a week earlier they were busy promoting The Odyssey, with Zendaya nailing method dressing in an array of Grecian-style gowns.

Spider-Man: Brand New Day will be released on July 31st and marks just the latest major project Zendaya has completed this year.

She recently revealed she now plans on taking a break from Hollywood after fitting five projects and a wedding to her husband Tom into the past 12 months.

The actress said that she plans to 'disappear for a little bit' following the jam-packed year.

The America star spoke about what she plans to do next at the New York premiere of The Odyssey earlier this month.

Fans also saw her reprise her role of troubled drug-addict Rue in HBO's Euphoria, as well as opposite Robert Pattinson in The Drama and Chani Dune: Part Three.

Zendaya also voices a new character in Shrek 5, which is slated for a June 2027 release, meaning she has more than had her hands full.

Tom and Zendaya seen in the new Spider-Man film

When asked by Entertainment Tonight reporter Emily Curl about what she will do with her time off, she said: 'Oh girl, nothing. Just mind my business, you know? And stay to myself.

Zendaya went on: 'This is such a whirlwind, and you’re kind of like in a new place every second, and your brain is kind of all over the place.'

'It’s fun and I’m grateful, and I wouldn’t change a thing, but sometimes you need to just, you know, disappear for a little bit.'

During the promotional run for the film, Zendaya detailed the moment Tom was able to tell her she had landed her role in the Christopher Nolan epic The Odyssey.

Both Zendaya and her actor partner are in the star-studded cast, which also includes Matt Damon, Anne Hathaway and Robert Pattinson among others.

Tom was told first that he had been given the part of Telemachus and had begun meeting with director Nolan about the role.

Recalling the time during an appearance on The Tonight Show, Zendaya told host Jimmy Fallon: 'Well Tom got the call, Christopher Nolan called. My heart was just so full. I was so excited for him. I mean he's the best and he deserves this.'

'And I was just so excited, and obviously I'm his biggest fan but I'm also a Chris Nolan fan. So when that kind of opportunity comes around, I was just so excited. I didn't even put myself in that equation at all. Like we already won, you know?'

'So he had another meeting and he had the script, I may have done a little, you know, peeky peek. I gotta know, there's a Christopher Nolan script in my house,' the actress shared.

'So I looked, and then he went off to his meeting and when he came home I was like okay tell me all about it. How was he? What was it like? And I was so ready, so excited.'

It was at this moment Tom told Zendaya she would also be involved, revealing: 'And he goes, "read this again", and I was like "why? we just read it last night?", and he's like "read it again, but with Athena in mind".

'And I was like, "yo stop it right now". And I was just like, yeah I freaked out. I was so grateful that he got to be the one to tell me. It was so special.'

The cast of The Odyssey have plenty to celebrate as the movie debuted at the top of the North American box office this past weekend.

Nolan's adaptation of Homer's ancient Greek epic raked in $124.5 million domestically and $264.1 million globally, according to Variety.

The film which tells the story of the Greek king's perilous journey home after the Trojan War in a bid to reunite with his beloved wife Penelope also received glowing reviews from critics and audiences.

Last month, Tom ended months of speculation about the couple's marriage as he declared to Esquire: 'I found my person.

'I'm the happiest I've ever been'.

Referencing a number of highly-realistic, AI-generated 'wedding' images of the couple that went viral on Instagram and TikTok, Tom was asked if any family members had thought they'd missed their actual wedding after seeing the pictures.

Tom answered: 'No, because they were all there... That's all you'll get on that', confirming that the nuptials did actually take place.

Zendaya's longtime stylist, Law Roach, first claimed Tom and Zendaya were married during an interview at the 2026 Actor Awards in Los Angeles in February.

The stylist, 47, casually dropped in the news by saying: 'The wedding has already happened. You missed it!', but the couple declined to clarify at the time.

Zendaya first debuted her engagement ring, designed by London-based jeweler Jessica McCormack, at the 2025 Golden Globes.

Talking about their relationship, Tom said: 'Our business can present very stressful situations, and it's really nice to have a bedrock of a relationship that will stand the test of time.

'We can support each other in ways that only we can, because only we understand really what it's like to live this life, and I think that is such a luxury, because I just don't understand how I would be able to have anything like that with anyone else.

'So, for me, I found my person.

'She's my best friend, and I'm the happiest I have ever been when I'm with her, but I have also never felt so supported and safe, ever. Period.'
