MANILA, Philippines — The Social Security System (SSS) has increased its investment in Century Properties Group Inc. (CPG), raising its ownership stake to nearly 10 percent in a move that the listed property developer said reflects confidence in its long-term growth prospects and shareholder returns.

The latest investment comes after the SSS acquired 740.74 million common shares in July 2025.

According to the company, the additional investment highlights the SSS’s confidence in CPG’s business fundamentals, corporate governance, growth strategy and shareholder return profile.

The company also said the move affirms investor confidence in its “twin-engine” strategy, which combines PHirst, its affordable first-home platform, with CPG’s premium residential developments.

“We are deeply honored by SSS’s continued confidence in CPG,” CPG president and CEO Marco Antonio said.

Antonio said the additional investment recognizes the company’s long-term strategy and commitment to delivering sustainable value to shareholders.
