This was announced during an online briefing by Dmytro Petlin, head of the Division for Operational Duty, Communications, Alerting, and Public Information at the Department of Civil Protection, Mobilization, and Defense of the Donetsk Regional State Administration, according to Ukrinform.

“There are currently 46,143 people remaining in the Kramatorsk community and 37,300 in the Sloviansk community,” Petlin said.

He noted that evacuations in the communities are ongoing, with 10 to 12 evacuation teams from law enforcement agencies operating in the region—these include the National Police’s “White Angels” units and rescue teams from the State Emergency Service’s “Phoenix” unit. Volunteers are also assisting with evacuations in the region, and “about 10 or more teams are working every day,” Petlin added.

As reported by Ukrinform, a mandatory evacuation of children and their parents has been announced in Donetsk region from the villages of Krasnotorka and Bilenke, as well as from the most dangerous areas of Kramatorsk.
