The Russian military attacked Zaporizhzhia, causing a fire at an industrial facility and injuring several people.

Head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration Ivan Fedorov announced this on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.

"The smoke rising over the city is the result of an enemy attack on Zaporizhzhia. A fire broke out at a food industry enterprise following the Russian strike," Fedorov wrote.

One person was initially reported injured. Vehicles and buildings at the site caught fire.

Later, Fedorov said the number of injured had risen to three.

"The number of people affected by the Russian attack on the regional center is increasing. Medical assistance was required for a 33-year-old woman and men aged 25 and 41," Fedorov wrote.

As previously reported, one person was killed and two others injured as a result of a Russian strike on Odesa.
