As well as reporting on Arday, the Daily Telegraph also reports that donations to a think tank that "bankrolled" Defence Secretary Wes Streeting have been linked to "one of the world's most notorious fraudsters", Sam Bankman-Fried. The jailed "crypto-king" reportedly gave Labour for the Long Term (LLT) £37,500. However, Streeting's spokesperson told the paper that the list of donors to the think tank that his team reviewed did not include Bankman-Fried. "Wes has had no contact with this individual and he was never mentioned in any discussions with LLT," they said. A Labour Party spokesman added that the party carried out "due diligence checks ahead of these donations being received, through which no issues were identified."
