SAN ILDEFONSO, Ilocos Sur — Strong winds from Tropical Storm Maymay toppled trees across parts of Vigan City on Thursday, obstructing roads and prompting immediate clearing operations. Authorities immediately removed the debris and other road hazards to ensure safe passage for motorists and pedestrians. Vigan City Police Station, led by Police Lt. Col. David G. Dulnuan, deputy provincial director for operations and officer-in-charge of the station, said local police helped remove obstructions.
