Andhra Pradesh reported three new COVID cases, all from East Godavari district, on July 22 (Wednesday), taking the case load in the State to 29.

According to information from the Health Department, samples collected from 44 people from across the State, including 19 from East Godavari, were tested. Of these, three persons from East Godavari tested positive for the virus, taking the district’s tally to six.

As of July 22, while 10 persons were undergoing treatment in hospitals, 12 were placed under home isolation, and three had recovered. The death toll stands at four.
