At least seven countries have been eliminated from the ongoing CAF Women’s Africa Cup of Nations, WAFCON, in Morocco.

They are Zambia, Egypt, Burkina Faso, Cape Verde, Senegal, Kenya and Tanzania.

The teams were knocked out of the tournament following the conclusion of earlier group matches played on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.

The last team that will join the aforementioned seven teams out of the tournament will be decided after the conclusion of Thursday’s Group D fixtures.

DAILY POST reports that Mali will tackle Ghana, while Cameroon will face Cape Verde on Thursday.

This means that the loser of Ghana versus Mali will be eliminated from the tournament.
