The Duskbloods network test will take place between Friday, Aug. 21 and Sunday, Aug. 23, offering the perfect opportunity for those eager to have a taste of FromSoftware's new game and see what it's all about. If you're selected to participate, you will be able to play a pre-release version of the game, which allows for multiplayer matches with up to eight players.

How to sign up for The Duskbloods network test

The application period to participate in The Duskbloods network teststartson Wednesday, July 22 at 10 a.m. EDT and it ends on Tuesday, July 28 at 9:59 a.m. EDT.

Before signing up for The Duskbloods network test, there are three prerequisites you must meet. To apply, you must have a Nintendo account, a Nintendo Switch 2 console, and an active Nintendo Switch Online membership. Applying does not guarantee participation in the network test. FromSoftware will announce the selected participants on Friday, Aug. 7 at 9 a.m. EDT.

You must follow these steps to sign up for The Duskbloods network test:

  1. Visit the official The Duskbloods website.
  2. Select your region and language.
  3. Scroll to the bottom of the page and select "Apply."
  4. Select "Apply Now."
  5. Agree to the Terms of Use and click "Link Nintendo Account."
  6. Click on the "See details/Edit" dropdown button to the right of "Information received" on the Nintendo Account information usage page, and check off the "Country/region setting" box. Make sure to complete this step or else you'll receive an error.
  7. Fill out the rest of the form.

With that done, you'll now need to wait until 9 a.m. EDT on Friday, Aug. 7, to see if you've been selected for the network test. You'll receive a download code that you can use in the Nintendo Store or eShop to install the network test. If you have been selected, you can preload it starting on Tuesday, Aug. 18 at 9 a.m. EDT.

According to the official site, the number of participants is limited and "applications will be accepted in the order they are received." So, if you want to have any chance to participate, be sure to sign up as soon as you can.
