According to Ukrinform, the Ukrainian Air Force reported this on Telegram.
Starting at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 5, the enemy launched two Onyx anti-ship missiles (launched from the temporarily occupied Crimea), two Kh-31P anti-radar missiles (launched from the airspace over the Black Sea), and 101 Shahed-type combat UAVs (most of them jet-powered), Gerbera, Italmas, and Parodiya-type decoy drones from the following directions: Kursk, Millerovo, Orel (Russian Federation), the temporarily occupied city of Donetsk, and Hvardiiske (Crimea).
The air attack was repelled by the Ukrainian Air Force, anti-aircraft missile forces, electronic warfare units, unmanned systems, and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
According to preliminary data, as of 9:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 6, Air Defense Forces shot down or neutralized 66 drones in the north, south, and east of the country.
Twenty-nine combat UAVs and one Onyx missile hit 18 locations, and debris from downed targets was found at 5 locations. The remaining missiles did not reach their targets; details are being clarified.

The attack is ongoing, with several enemy drones in the airspace.
As reported by Ukrinform, three people were killed in Balakliia, the Kharkiv region, on the night of August 6 as a result of an attack by Russian drones.
