The Kerala State ASHA Workers Federation affiliated to the CITU will hold its State conference here on Saturday and Sunday.

A procession will start from Anchuvilakku junction at 10 a.m. on Saturday and proceed to the stadium bus stand. CITU national secretary A.R. Sindhu will inaugurate a public meeting to be held later.

CITU national secretary K.N. Gopinath and State leaders C.S. Sujatha, M. Hamsa, V. Sasikumar, K.P. Mary and K.K. Prasannakumari will speak.

The delegates’ conference will begin at 3 p.m. Mr. Gopinath will inaugurate the session. State president M.B. Prabhavathi will preside.

The conference will discuss issues faced by ASHA workers.
