DUBLIN FIRE BRIGADE has dispatched five fire engines and a water tanker to tackle an industrial fire in north Co Dublin.

Smoke from the fire, which the fire brigade said was in Wimbletown in Ballyboughal, could be seen from Dublin city centre this afternoon.

“Firefighters are already on scene dealing with the fire,” the fire brigade said in posts on social media.

The fire brigade has also advised people affected by the smoke to close all their windows and doors.
