Reina Filipinas: Isabella Ortega, Alexie Brooks advance to Top 7
The public is one step closer to meeting the first Reina Filipinas Grand International queen, as the pageant revealed the seven delegates who made the final cut at the Grand Coronation night on Friday, Aug. 7.
The candidates who made it to the Top 7 were the following:
- Iloilo City’s Alexie Caimoso Brooks
- Caloocan’s Luisa Lorin Montano Benavides
- Zambales’ Cleopatra Barrera
- Palawan’s Angelica Lopez
- Mandaluyong’s Zeah Nestle Pala
- Camarines Sur’s Isabella Ortega
- Manila’s Anne Patricia Lorenzo Diaz
Brooks and Benavides earned their spots in the Top 7 after they emerged as the Best Seller Awardee and Miss Popular Vote, respectively. Although she did not make the Top 11, Benavides advanced to the final cut as a fast-track winner.

Meanwhile, also receiving an award was Brooks, who was named Best in Long Gown.
During the long gown competition, the judges revealed in real time their scores for the candidates. Another highlight before the announcement of the finalists was the candidates sharing their thoughts during the Voice for Change speech round.
One of the seven finalists will be crowned Reina Filipinas Grand International, while two others will receive the Reina Filipinas MGI All Stars titles. The remaining four finalists will be named runners-up. /edv
