In a major reshuffle, the government on Friday (August 7, 2026) transferred several IAS officers and gave postings and full additional charges to some others with immediate effect.

Shamsher Singh Rawat, Special Chief Secretary in the General Administration Department (Services & Human Resources Management) has been transferred and posted as Special CS of the Department of Tourism & Culture. He is also given FAC (full additional charge) as Special CS for Youth Services & Sports, Services & HRM and Grievances, Petitions Monitoring and Administrative Reforms).

J. Syamala Rao, Principal Secretary in GAD (Political), is transferred and posted as Principal Secretary of School Education Department and given FAC as Principal Secretary, Higher Education, Skill Development & Training Department, and GAD.

Kona Sasidhar, Secretary of School Education, has been transferred and posted as Secretary, Transport, Roads & Buildings, and given FAC as Secretary for the Infrastructure & Investment Department.

M. Siva Prasad, Director of Social Welfare, is transferred and posted as the Joint MD of APSRTC and given FAC as the Director of Social Welfare.

The services of Amrapali Kata, MD of AP Tourism Development Corporation (APTDC), have been withdrawn from the Youth Affairs, Tourism and Culture Department and she was directed to report to GAD for further posting.

Pattanshetti Ravi Subash, Secretary of APPSC, has been transferred and posted as the MD of APTDC and given FAC as the CEO of AP Tourism Authority and Secretary of APPSC.

S. Suresh Kumar, Principal Secretary (MA & UD), is appointed as Special Officer for Godavari Pushkaralu relieving G. Veerapandian.

Narayana Bharath Gupta, Commissioner of Higher Education, has been appointed as the Joint Special Officer for Godavari Pushkaralu.

Revu Mutyalaraju, Commissioner of AP State Institute of Rural Development (APSIRD), is transferred and posted as Commissioner of Archaeology & Museums.

K. Venkata Krishna who is re-appointed as Additional Secretary and OSD to Deputy Chief Minister, is given FAC as the Commissioner of APSIRD.

K.V.N. Chakradhara Babu, Director of Secondary Health, is placed in FAC in the post of Commissioner of Health & Family Welfare and MD of National Health Mission.

Hepsiba Rani Korlapati has been posted as Special Secretary in the Housing Department and placed in FAC in the posts of VC & MD of AP State Housing Corporation (APSHC)and Commissioner of AP Weaker Sections Housing Program (APWSHP)

The services of P. Arun Babu as the VC & MD of APSHC and Commissioner of APWSHP, are withdrawn from the Housing Department and he was posted as the Director General of Drug Control Administration and placed in FAC in the post of Director of AYUSH.

The service of N. Tej Bharath as the Commissioner of Visakhapatnam Metropolitan Region Development Authority (VMRDA) was withdrawn from the MA&UD Department and he was directed to report to the GAD for further posting.

Prakhar Jain, CEO of Real Time Governance Society (RTGS), is transferred and has been posted as the Commissioner of VMRDA.

Geetanjali Sharma, MD of AP State Fibernet Ltd, has been given FAC as the CEO of RTGS. T.S. Chetan, Joint Secretary to the Chief Commissioner of Land Administration, was placed in FAC in the post of Director of Disaster Management.

A. Sarath, who was re - employed as the Joint EO (Health & Education) in Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD), is posted as the Joint EO of TTD.

Prabhala Gopinadh has been posted as the Joint EO (Health & Education) of TTD, and A.A.L. Padmavathi, was posted as the CEO of NTR Vaidya Seva Trust.

M. Jayakrishna has been posted as the Commissioner of Tirupati Municipal Corporation. B. Anil Kumar Reddy, MD of Swachh Andhra Corporation, has been directed to report to GAD for further posting.

B. Sunil Kumar Reddy, MD of AP Township & Infrastructure Development Corporation, is given FAC for the post of MD of Swachh Andhra Corporation.
