CASTILLEJOS, Zambales — Seven families or 23 individuals were preemptively evacuated from Barangay Balaybay in this town due to landslides amid heavy rainfall that continued to affect parts of this province on Saturday. According to Rolex Estella, head of the Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction Management Office, the evacuees were moved to safety as a precaution because of the landslide threat in the area.
