CALAPAN CITY, Oriental Mindoro — A magnitude 4.2 earthquake jolted parts of Occidental and Oriental Mindoro on Sunday afternoon, according to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs). Phivolcs said the earthquake occurred at 4:05 p.m., with its epicenter located 11 kilometers south-southwest of Mamburao, Occidental Mindoro. The quake had a depth of 24 kilometers. Instrumental Intensity II was recorded in Mamburao and Sablayan, Occidental Mindoro, and Instrumental Intensity I in Looc and Abra de Ilog in the same province.
