SAN FERNANDO, Bukidnon — Around 3,000 senior citizens in this town began receiving on Monday P3,000 each under the national government’s Social Pension Program, local officials said.The first payout was held at the Kalagangan Multipurpose Gym, where about 640 beneficiaries from barangays Matupi, Durian, Tabuling, Kalagangan, Payaga, San Jose, Sto. Domingo, and Bunacao received their cash assistance, said Jenevieve Trigo, Office of the Senior Citizens Affairs (OSCA) focal person.The second payout was conducted at the Halapitan gym for 1,514 beneficiaries from the barangays of Tugop, Nakabuklad, Little Baguio, Mabayanan, Sacramento Valley, Mabuhay, and Candelaria.
