SAN ANTONIO, Zambales — More than 2,600 residents in this province have been evacuated as of August 9 as persistent rains brought by the southwest monsoon continued to affect the province. Based on the latest consolidated data from the Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council, 878 families (2,625 individuals) have taken shelter in evacuation centers, while another 25 families or 76 individuals found homes outside designated centers.
