Michael Cinco raves about Reina Filipinas hosts Joy Barcoma, Sean Kyle Ortega

Netizens have been heaping praises on Reina Filipinas Grand Coronation Night hosts Sean Kyle Ortega and Joy Barcoma, and highly-acclaimed fashion designer Michael Cinco has joined the chorus of rave reviews.

The Dubai-based Filipino designer, who boasts a clientele of international A-listers in the entertainment and fashion world, was one of the judges of the final competition held recently in Pasay City.

In separate posts on their social media pages, both Ortega and Barcoma shared screenshots of Cinco’s messages to each of them sent via a messaging app

“Pinch me I must be dreaming,” Ortega said when he shared Cinco’s mesage. The designer told him, “Sean, you are the best host ever…you should host international pageants…”

In her own post, Barcoma referred as her “BIGGEST FLEX TODAY” the screenshot of Cinco’s message. “[Thank you very much for] the overwhelming support after our Reina Filipinas hosting stint! Feels so good to be recognized for your craft,” she said.

In his message, Cinco told Barcoma, “I enjoyed your hosting at Reina Filipinas. I love how effortlessly you speak with such eloquence, wit, and impeccable grammar. You and Sean are truly the best hosts ever!”

He continued: “I’m so proud and happy to have witnessed such amazing talent. You made the whole event even more enjoyable and memorable. Congratulations, Joy! You were absolutely brilliant!”

Barcoma went on to thank Reina Filipinas Pres. Jojo Bragais, National Director Emma Tiglao, and Executive Partner Nawat Itsaragrisil for the opportunity.

Nawat, a Thai personality who is popular in the international pageant circuit, is also the president of Miss Grand International and the CEO of Miss Universe Eastern.

Reina Filipinas has crowned three pageant veterans–Palawan’s Angelica Lopez who will represent the Philippines at the 2026 Miss Grand International pagent in India in October, and Iloilo’s Alexie Brooks and Manila’s Anne Patricia Lorenzo Diaz who will both be sent to the second edition of MGI All Stars in Thailand in December. /edv
