An urgent hunt has been launched for a mother and her three children who have been missing for two days.

Alimat, 31, from Wolverhampton, was last seen with her children on Saturday in the Digbeth area of central Birmingham.

Police have appealed for the public's help in finding the missing family.

A CCTV image shows Alimat and her three children walking with at least two suitcases.

She also appears to be pushing a pram piled with coats and other clothes.

In a social media post, West Midlands Police wrote: 'Have you seen Alimat?

Alimat, 31, has been missing alongside her three children for two days after last being seen in Digbeth

'The 31-year-old from Wolverhampton is missing along with her three children.

'They have been missing since 8 August and were last seen in the area of Digbeth in Birmingham.

'If you see Alimat please call 999 quoting RID 1160387.'
