WASHINGTON, August 10. /TASS/. The United States may escalate the conflict with Iran if it deems necessary, President Donald Trump said.

"We have that certainly in that ability if we want to do that. Yeah, you'll find that out," he told reporters, responding to a question whether he intends to pursue a "large-scale escalation" of the conflict.

When asked whether he intends to carry out his threat to strike the leadership of the Islamic Republic, Trump replied: "You’ll find it out."
